That world outside there is not waiting for a new definition of Christianity, it’s waiting for a new demonstration of Christianity.
The Bible is not a neat and tidy tale. It is a messy, real, and raw book about people who are just as screwed up as we are encountering a God who would rather die than spend an eternity without them.
How would you know to be Christ-like if you don’t even read the Bible to know how Christ is.
